||His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Faisal al Saud: ‘Understanding the Middle East Today’

Prince Turki is warmly
remembered for his years as Ambassador for the Royal Embassy of Saudi
Arabia from 2003 until the outbreak of the US Invasion of Iraq. He was
highly respected by diplomats here.
Previously he had been Director General of the General Intelligence
Directorate (GID), the Kingdom’s main foreign intelligence
service. After service as Ambassador in the UK, he was appointed
as Ambassador to the White House for two years.
